Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to advocate and educate to improve outcomes for unique students.

Advocating
We advocate for students' and families' rights to get the right services and support for their students’ needs. This ensures they receive educational benefits that fit their unique situation. We also advocate for the correct placement in the least restrictive environment, so every student receives a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) based on their individual needs.

Educating
We teach parents and students about their rights, Special Education timelines, Child Find, how to request evaluations and services, and where to find education laws (and explain them clearly). We help explain test scores using the bell curve, assist with organizing important school papers, attend 504/IEP meetings, help file complaints at local, state, and federal levels, and prepare families for mediation or Due Process hearings.

Improving Outcomes
We work to mediate between parents and schools to make sure students are correctly identified for Special Education. We ensure 504/IEPs are written to truly support students based on their individual needs, and that IEP goals are based on accurate data to show current academic and functional progress. We also help with writing goals and tracking progress for IEPs.
